Specifically designed for ABC Tissue Products in Auckland (producers of Quilton and EarthCare toilet tissues), the system monitors the factory production, records running times per shifts and quantifies all parameters.

The system reports back to the management with the achieved values per day/week/month, thus allowing the management team to take informed decisions.

Customized to fit the requirements of the business, the system connects to the factory PLCs (the Controllers that provides the intelligent functionality of the machines in the factory) using the OPC connectivity standard protocols through RSLogix server (Rockwell technology) to gather all the data required and stores it into a database.

The design and functionality of the system was fully programmed to run automatically without human intervention and minimal supervision.

All calculations are done in real time, thus providing a super fast way to report back to the management. The system auto check-itself for potential errors that the machines will report, starting and stopping various components based on the integrity of the whole system at any point in time.

 

Designed using Microsoft SQL Reporting Services, powered by SQL Server and ASP.NET, the system is one of a kind. Featuring the production in real-time on a large office screen, this is one of the systems you'd like to have if you're running a factory, or any production facility.
